Ms. Güler Sabancı, Chairperson, Hacı Ömer Sabancı Holding A.Ş.
 
Güler Sabancı currently serves as the Chairperson and Managing Director of Sabancı Holding, Turkey’s leading industrial and financial conglomerate, and President of the Board of Trustees of Sabancı Foundation and the Board of Sakıp Sabancı Museum.
 
Formerly head of the group's tire production division, which she joined in 1978, Ms. Sabancı is also President of the Board of Trustees of Sabancı University, established in 1996 on the outskirts of Istanbul.
 
Ms. Sabancı is routinely recognized as one of the premiere businesswomen in the world. The Wall Street Journal named her one of the "30 Most Powerful Women of Europe", she was selected as one of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women by the Forbes magazine, and in 2009 the Financial Times listed her 5th among the "Top 50 Women" in world business.
 
Ms. Sabancı was born in 1955 in Adana, Turkey and is a graduate of the Business Administration Department of Bosphorus University.
