Erdal Trhulj was born in 1964 in Sarajevo. After completing his studies in Civil Engineering, Minister Trhulj went on to work with the construction company Hidrogradnja JSC Sarajevo for 14 years, serving as project manager and head engineer on a number of projects. In 2006 he joined Hypo Group as an independent engineer in the Real Estate Department. From November 2006 to December 2010, Minister Trhulj served his government as the Director of the Federal Directorate for Constructing, Managing and Maintaining the Highways, under the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications. In early 2011 he joined the Public Enterprise Highways of the Federation B&H LLC Mostar as Acting Director.

 

Minister Trhulj is now Minister of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry. He is married and has two children.
